Conversion Solutions
Videos

We have the ability to convert a variety of different video tape formats. Please refer to the above image to see an example of the tapes that we currently support.

With our "Convert & Edit" option, we will convert the tape and then split each event on the tape into a separate clip.

With our "Convert Only" option, we will simply convert the tape without edits.
Photos

We will scan your photos at either 300 or 600 dpi ( your choice ). Next we will review each image and, when appropriate, make a few basic edits (orientation, cropping and red-eye reduction).

There is an additional charge for photos that require extra handling, such as a photos in albums or frames, extra-large photos or special needs photos.
Slides / Negatives

We will use a multi-pass approach to convert your slides and negatives. The first pass will scan your slides and negatives at a minimum of 1200 dpi. A second pass is an infrared scan that will attempt to remove any dust or small scratches. Next we will review each image and, when appropriate, make a few basic edits (orientation, cropping and red-eye reduction).

There is an additional charge for slide and negatives that require extra handling, such as slide trays and carousels.
Audio

We will convert your LP records, cassettes or Reel-to-Reel tapes to your choice of MP3 or AAC digital format. Another choice you have is if you want us to attempt to reduce any static or other distortions. This optional feature is free.
When appropriate, we will split the digital file into separate tracks and fill in as much metadata as possible. This includes artist, year, track number, song title, album name and album art.
Documents

We will convert that pile of paper into Portable Document Format (PDF) files. PDF files are easier to organize, search and retain.
Film Reels

We will convert your 8mm or Super 8 movie reels to a digital video format. As part of this process, we will enhance the quality of your video and also ensure that the final video is at the proper frame rate (fps).
Videos from 8mm movies reels will be at 16.67 fps while videos from Super 8 movies reels will be at 18 fps.
